Training and Events
Our training provides professionals with the knowledge and resources to facilitate a MacKillop Seasons program so they can support children, young people and adults experiencing change, loss and grief. We provide a calendar of scheduled training workshops and we endeavour to support schools and communities with requests to deliver tailored group events.
Children & Young People's Program (ONLINE) Companion (facilitator) Training
OnlineDelivered over two consecutive days by an authorised MacKillop Seasons Trainer, the training provides you with the knowledge, skills and materials required to facilitate the Seasons for Growth small-group program for children and young people within your school or community settings.

Your registration fee ($900 or $1039.50 - based on selections below) includes:
• Authorised 2 days of online training
• Companion Manual (guide to running groups with children & young people)
• Choice of Example Resource Pack: selection of participant journals and program materials to be used with young people
• Access to support opportunities, professional learning, communities of practice, events, seminars & workshops

Stormbirds (ONLINE) - Disaster Resilience for Children & Young People Companion Training
Online
This online professional learning program prepares educators, wellbeing staff and community professionals to facilitate Stormbirds groups within schools and community settings.
Delivered by an authorised MacKillop Seasons trainer, the training provides participants with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to support children and young people as they navigate disruption, loss, uncertainty and recovery.
By completing the training, participants will be equipped to facilitate the Stormbirds program and help build resilience, connection and hope within their communities. For more information read about the Stormbirds Program.
Included in program fee of $750: Companion manual and program journal(s), and GST.

Seasons for Life - (ONLINE) Supplementary Session
OnlineThe session is delivered as part of the Seasons for Life initiative. This two-hour online professional learning opportunity focuses specifically on suicide for secondary school staff. It is designed exclusively for trained Seasons for Growth Children and Young People Companions working in secondary school settings.
Seasons for Healing (F2F) - Companion (facilitator) Training
Face to FaceBecome a certified Seasons for Healing Companion. Seasons for Healing is a culturally informed small-group education program developed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults in understanding and navigating experiences of change, loss and grief.
Adult Program (ONLINE) - Companion Training
OnlineTrain online to become a certified Seasons for Growth Companion for the Adult Program. Delivered over two consecutive days by an authorised Trainer, this interactive programme equips professionals to facilitate Seasons for Growth small groups for adults experiencing significant life changes, loss and grief.

Professional Learning for Certified Companions (ONLINE)
OnlineContinue growing your confidence, knowledge and practice. Professional Learning for Companions offers a series of complimentary online learning sessions designed to extend and enrich your understanding of the Seasons for Growth and Stormbirds programs.
Communities of Practice (ONLINE)
OnlineConnect, Learn and Grow Together. Communities of Practice sessions are complimentary online discussion forums for trained Seasons Companions. These sessions provide a supportive space to connect with fellow practitioners, share experiences, exchange ideas and strengthen your confidence in delivering Seasons programs.

Seasons for Life - Parent Companion Training
