The Institute
The MacKillop Institute is the professional learning and practice development arm of MacKillop Family Services. Drawing on more than 170 years of experience supporting children, young people, families and communities, we partner with schools, organisations and communities to build safer, healthier and more connected environments. Through evidence-informed programs, professional learning and practical resources, we empower educators, leaders and practitioners to strengthen wellbeing, resilience, child safety and trauma-informed practice. Our work is grounded in research, shaped by real-world experience, and focused on creating lasting positive change for children, families and communities across Australia and beyond.
The Seasons for Growth programs are just one of the sets of evidence-based programs develiered by the team at The Institute. Many of The Institute's programs support universal learning across schools and organisations to strengthen wellbeing and safety such as ReLATE our whole school wellbeing model, Sanctuary the whole workplace wellbeing model, Power to Kids a whole-of-organsiation child safeguarding program, as well as shorter one-day and spoke trainings on Emotionally Intelligent Leadership, Vicarious Trauma, Child and Student Co-Regulation, Educator Wellbeing, and Child Safety.
